Fahrenheit
Bullistik Fahrenheit 911
Fahrenheit is another of our bred-by boys. He is the black mask red pied son of Nero and Fancee and we are so fortunate to have both he and
his black mask red littermate sister, Fired Up!
At just 15 months old, Fahrenheit is maturing beautifully. His heavy bone, substance, and remarkable headpiece are just a few of his many attributes that will make this handsome boy a huge asset to our breeding program.
Fortunately for us, Fahrenheit did inherit a copy of the ‘d’ allele from either Nero or Fancee (they are both blue carriers), so he is able to produce offspring in a medley of colors, including blues, depending on the bitch he is bred to.
His first litter arrived on September 24th, out of our Sierra Leone (Ch. Adjatay Signe Bullistik x Bullistik Red Hot & Blue). Sierra does not carry the ‘d’ allele so all 3 daughters from this union are traditional colors; brindle pied, brindle, black mask fawn pied.
As you can see in the collage below, Fahrenheit’s girls are scrumptious, and we are very proud of his ability to produce such gorgeous offspring. His black mask fawn pied daughter, Bullistik ‘Exception’ To The Rule!, will be staying here with us.
Yes, it is true, I have many rules (criteria) regarding which Frenchie will stay at Bullistik and eventually become a part of our breeding program. These rules are divided into 4 groups: health, conformation, temperament, and color.
I can honestly say that there are very few coat colors that I object to, but
- my pieds (fawn or brindle; dilute or traditional) MUST have complete eye pigment, and pristine white coats, so I only keep DOUBLE HOODED pieds, and you will never find a pied with TICKING anywhere in my vicinity.
- my brindles (dilute or traditional) must have a visible PATTERN.
- my fawns all have BLACK MASKS, and are always RED.
It is a rare occasion that I deviate from the program, but Fancee (Fahrenheit’s dam) was the first black mask fawn (not red) that was so exceptional in every other way, that she easily provided me with sound reasoning to break protocol. And now, this absolutely divine little black mask fawn (not red) pied gem, Fancee’s granddaughter, is another lovely girl that I simply cannot find fault with.
So without further adieu, let me introduce the little lady that (just like her grand-dam before her) is responsible for causing Bullistik to depart from the customary…..
