Fancee Blue Shine

There comes a time (occasionally more than once) in your life, when a unique opportunity presents itself, and you just can’t say no.  Fancee was one of those times for me.  I was not looking

for another Frenchie girl, but out of nowhere, I was offered the opportunity to have Fancee join the Bullistik family and after learning more about her and her pedigree, I simply could not refuse.

All of my girls (aside from Fancee) were bred by me, and although I have occasionally purchased an outside male, that is not the case with my girls.

But, what made Fancee so intriguing to me, in addition to her wonderful conformation, was her bloodlines.

You see, Fancee is a Bostondane Blue Genes ‘Levi’ granddaughter and Belboulecan Du Champagne Mondo great granddaughter on her sire’s side, and her dam, Cajun Raspberry is line bred on two of my all time favorite pieds from my own breeding, Ch. Tea-D’s Gradon Briarpatch, and Ch. Tea-D’s Dodged The Bullet.

Not only was this lovely girl a ‘blue’ producer, she was simply stunning, had a fabulous temperament, was extremely healthy, and allowed me the opportunity to go back to my own lines from the mid 90′s, and boy did she produce some lovely babies for us.

The decision I made to purchase Fancee, was the right one for sure.  She is a wonderful dog, and besides being an excellent ambassador of the French Bulldog breed, she was an extraordinary asset to our breeding program.

We have kept two of Fancee’s kids from her litter sired by Nero (the red heads, Fahrenheit and Fired Up), and her only son from her litter sired by Wrangler (blue pied, Rodeo).

All of her babies are confident, happy, sweet, and beautiful to look at; just like their mama.

Fancee has recently retired and is now a city gal, living in Brooklyn with her humans, the Ullians, and her new Frenchie BFF, “Maddie”.

As you can see, Fancee has made herself quite at home with her new family, and is pictured enjoying a quiet snooze with her new sister, Maddie.

She exemplifies our breed in her ability to easily adapt to change and to accept new situations, people, and animals without a care in the world.
